Submission of Symposia

To submit a symposium, please complete the following form. After successful submission you will receive an automatic email from the system. In a second email you and all first authors will receive your Symposium ID. You will need this ID for submitting your abstract in the abstract submission system.

This form is only for chairpersons. If you are submitting an abstract as part of a symposium, please select the Abstract submission system.

Symposia on any aspects of screening and brief intervention and referral to treatment (SBIRT) for alcohol and other drugs can be submitted. We strongly encourage submissions that cover “Recent Developments in Research and Implementation of Screening and Brief Interventions”, the topic of the conference in 2019.

All submissions will be reviewed by INEBRIA’s scientific committee in terms of originality, clarity, novelty, and importance.

A symposium is a 90-minute session with an introduction by the chairperson of the session and three to four oral presentations based on submitted abstracts. After every presentation, a short discussion in the plenary should be included.

A chairperson can only submit one symposium.

Please note that current direct employment by the corporate alcohol industry precludes individuals from presenting at the INEBRIA conference.
